What to expect from Invisalign

Step 1 - Commit to the treatment
Commitment is key to good treatment outcomes. A lack of commitment can lead to the results ‘relapsing‘ and the effect of the tooth straightening being reversed if the Invisalign system is not used properly.

Step 2 - Meet me for detailed scans
The SmileView and Invisalign Smile Assessment are great tools to understand what the end results can be. By attending the practice, we can accurately scan your teeth to determine almost exact results and then send off for your bespoke orthodontic retainers to be made.

Step 3 - Wear your bespoke retainers
When you pick up your first bespoke aligners, we will examine your smile, ensuring high standards from start. You will have check-ups every 6-8 weeks to monitor your progress and collect your next set of aligners. Invisalign Virtual Care feature within the My Invisalign app will also allow me to keep track of your progress and give you feedback remotely in between your face to face appointments.

Step 4 - Maintain
Once you have transformed your smile with Invisalign, you must wear your aligners according to your Invisalign treatment plan. Set reminders for wearing and changing your aligners on My Invisalign App
Once orthodontic treatment ends, teeth can have a tendency to move again, so it's important to keep them in place for long lasting results. For this we will make Vivera retainers, which are custom-made, and 30% stronger than other retainers. Wear these nightly indefinitely.
What if I’m not suitable for Invisalign?
Another option is open to you! We are fortunate to have a specialist fixed orthodontics practice (Neat.teeth) in the same building as Parkway Clinic.
